NIH Regional Conference

The National Institutes of Health have invited Towson University to participate as an Ambassador Institution during their 2014 NIH Regional Seminar on Program Funding and Grants Administration at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore from June 25th-27th , 2014. We are looking for approximately 25 volunteers overall from Towson’s faculty, staff, graduate and post-doctoral students to participate over the course of the seminar.

Volunteers will be on site from 7:30am to 5:00pm and their responsibilities will include working at the front registration desk, floating / general duties, and monitoring session rooms.  There is no registration fee for volunteers and the NIH will make an attempt to assign volunteers to sessions that are of interest to them. If a faculty member volunteers for one full day at the seminar, the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research (OSPR) will pay the attendance fee for their second day  of the seminar.

If you are interested in attending and volunteering, please contract by April 18, 2014.
