Admission Requirements

Towson University welcomes international applicants who hold or seek an F-1 or J-1 visa to study in the United States. International students may also be required to provide proof of English-language proficiency and provide a course-by-course credential evaluation. When submitting a high school transcript, if it is not in English, it must be translated by a school official before submission.

In addition to the above international requirements, students must meet the following admission requirements based on their application type:

• Freshman/First-Year (currently enrolled in secondary school or has graduated with no college coursework taken after graduation)
• Transfer (secondary school graduate currently or previously enrolled at another college or university)
• Graduate (seeking admission to master's or doctoral programs)
