Child Care Access Means Parents in School
Towson University participates in the federal Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) program to provide TU student parents resources they need to attend classes and complete their degree programs, while balancing multiple responsibilities.
CCAMPIS Grant Application
CCAMPIS grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Apply for the CCAMPIS GrantServices & Resources
Applicants for the CCAMPIS program may qualify to receive a variety of services including:
- Childcare subsidies when using an accredited childcare center
- Workshops
- Academic assistance
- Family Study Room
- Textbook loans
- Starter kits
- Parent workshops each semester
- Family Study Room in the Cook Library

Applying for the Program
Eligibility
Student parents must:
- be currently enrolled in classes
- be in good academic standing
- be Pell Grant eligible for some of the services
- have completed their FASFA form
How to Apply
- Complete the CCAMPIS Program Application.
- If you haven’t already done so, you must also complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Follow these TU FAFSA instructions.
- Within five business days of submitting your application, the Project Coordinator for CCAMPIS Grant and Student Child Care Services will email you to schedule a meeting to review your needs.
- The CCAMPIS Committee will then review all applications and send notices outlining which resources you have been awarded.
