Many services and resources are available to students during the summer.

Parking

Annual parking permits are valid during the summer sessions. Current rates are posted on the Parking Services website.

Dining Services

A variety of eating venues are open throughout the summer—see the Dining Services website for specific hours and availability. Students can also use their OneCard at select area restaurants and stores.

Housing

All undergraduates taking at least one summer session class can live on campus. Contact Housing and Residence Life at 410-704-2516 for details.

Cook Library

Cook Library is open during the summer with full services provided. In addition to 270 computers, group and quiet study spaces, and a multimedia lab, librarians are available to assist with research assignments, using electronic resources and locating information in a variety of formats. Registered students may also access Cook Library’s electronic resources remotely. Please see the library website for a complete list of hours and services.

Academic Advising, Retention & Completion Office

The Academic Advising, Retention & Completion Office, located in the Lecture Hall Building, is open and available for appointments and walk-in advising during regular hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Tutoring & Learning Center

The Academic Achievement Center, located in Cook Library, 5th floor, is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Academic coaching is available upon request. For more information, see the website or call 410-704-2291.

Writing Center

The Writing Center is a multidisciplinary tutoring service for TU students, faculty and staff, which provides assistance with writing at any stage of the writing process. It is located in the College of Liberal Arts Building, Room 5330 and will be open during the summer. Check online for hours.

Health Center

The Health Center is conveniently located at the Health and Counseling Centers at Ward & West, near the College of Liberal Arts and the Residence Tower. All registered Towson University students are eligible to use the Health Center. Please check the website for hours, services and appointment information.
