Accounting and Business Advisory Services (M.S.)
The Master of Science in Accounting & Business Advisory Services at Towson University is a joint program with University of Baltimore. This program is designed to meet two important educational objectives. First, when combined with a bachelor's degree in accounting, the program allows students to earn the additional units necessary to meet the 150-hour requirement to sit for the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in Maryland and many other states. Students can earn the additional 30 credits needed while obtaining a Master's degree. Second, it combines career development opportunities with intensive course work. Students are able to cultivate mentoring relationships with faculty and develop a network of colleagues who can share insights and collaborate on team projects. Classes are scheduled in the evenings for the convenience of working professionals.

Students learn from full-time faculty who combine academic scholarship with practical experience and remain active consultants in the field.
