What do I love most about my job?                                                            Working in Admissions gives me the ability to cultivate relationships with students all over the country and internationally.  Through the direct connection we have with students, we are often both a counselor and a mentor.  Students lean on us to help them make one of the biggest decisions of their lives.  This means that they have grown to not only trust us, but to believe in us.  My passion is bettering and uplifting youth and my job gives me the opportunity to do that every day!

Something you may not know about Towson University.                               We are home to 19 Division I sports teams.  Towson University is most known for having a top 10 nationally ranked men’s Lacrosse program and for having an amazing dance team, which has won 17 national titles.

My advice to anyone who is journeying through the college decision making process.                                                                                                                 Figure out what you want in your ideal college or university and then conduct the necessary research to find universities that are the best match for you. Do not feel pressured or overwhelmed- enjoy the college search process. Apply to as many schools as possible and give yourself options to make the best choice for you. Make sure you ask a lot of questions and do your research.

Why is it important to build a relationship with your area counselor?       Often an admissions counselor is one of the first representatives that you will meet when visiting a university. We are your first impression.  As we work together during the admission process, we can be one of your greatest resources to help you in your college decision process. You'll find that we pride ourselves at Towson U in helping you during the admission process and transition to college life.

The coolest thing I’ve heard someone say about Towson University.          Our College of Fine Arts and Communication holds over 200 arts and culture events per year!
