Summer Art Camp 2015

June 22 – August 7 (3 two week sessions & 1 one week session)

Ages 6 – 14* | 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Extended Day (optional)

Spend the Summer in the Dimensions of Art

Summer Art Camp at the Community Art Center offers exciting opportunities for youth to explore, create and learn about art in a college studio setting. Each day, campers will participate in 3 different workshops: 2-D (drawing, painting, printmaking), 3-D (sculpture, clay) and 4D (Art in Motion-- animation & creative movement). Workshops are designed to delight students of all abilities and are taught by professional artists and art teachers. The last Friday of each session culminates with a student exhibition and screening featuring artworks created during camp. Campers are grouped by age*.

  • A non-refundable $50 deposit is due for each student and for each session upon registration. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. The remainder of the tuition balance is due with registration or later with prior special arrangements.
  • 10% discount is offered on tuition only for Towson University faculty and staff. Use a separate registration for each child.
  • Cancellations three weeks before the first day of each day of camp session will have full tuition refunded minus the $50 deposit; all deposits are non-refundable. After that date, but prior to the start of camp, 75% of tuition will be refunded. For a cancellation on the second day of camp, 50% of tuition will be refunded. No refunds will be issued after the second day, whether or not the student attended.
Extended Day

Extended day is offered 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. It is available at an additional charge and must be prearranged. Supervised crafts, board games, and low-keyed activities will keep children entertained.

*For daily drop-in please pay extended day counselor at time of service.
