The Community Art Center collaborates with faculty, students and staff to create memorable integrated arts experiences for the community. We aim to bring the joy of artmaking to people of all ages. Our events are on campus, in the community and virtual. 

Past Virtual Workshops

Art + Dance Party Workshop (1 hour)

Jump into an art and dance party workshop inspired by the online exhibition “All Night Party” in TU's Center for the Arts Gallery. Get ready to create festive party outfits and dance the hour away!

Fantasy Microbe Collage Workshop (1 hour)

Create fantasy Chesapeake Bay microbes inspired by environmental artist Stacy Levy's “Collected Watershed” exhibition.

Chesapeake Watershed Workshop (1 hour)

Learn about water conservation while creating art inspired by environmental artist Stacy Levy’sCollected Watershed” exhibition.

Circle of Life Printmaking Workshop (1 hour)

Learn different printmaking techniques to create prints that will be transformed into a sculpture inspired by the artwork of Edelweiss Calcagno.
