The Teacher Academy of Maryland (TAM) offers students interested in the education profession a program in the Education and Training Services Pathway of the Human Resources Services Cluster. This state-approved Career and Technology Education (CTE) career pathway is built upon a program of study that is aligned with the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (InTASC). The TAM program of study is based on the outcomes of the Maryland Associate of Arts in Teaching (A.A.T.) degree which aligns with the National Council for the Accreditation for Teacher Education (NCATE) standards.
