Research
The field of communication studies offers research opportunities across topics of interest to better understand the power of human interactions.
The faculty in the Department of Communication Studies are recognized researchers in their respective fields of interest and work to foster research opportunities for students. Our communications studies faculty are frequently published and cited for their contributions to the field while remaining dedicated to research activities which enhance their expertise and allow them to work alongside students interested in research.
Undergraduate and graduate students in the department are also active researchers — attending conferences, applying for and receiving student research grants and travel awards, and publishing in student journals. Check out an example below.
