TU’s major construction and renovation projects follow the campus master plan, developed alongside more than 65 campus and community groups.
Towson University’s buildings are part of its legacy. We are proud to create new and renovated spaces to serve our vibrant campus.
Smith Hall Renovation - Use the lower walkway to travel between the Glen Towers and campus core. View recommended pathways on the construction map (PDF).
The project will reconstruct the building’s east wing and renovate the west wing for communications, media arts and faculty support programs. The renovated building will open in February 2027.
