Please join us for the 2026 FACET Scholar Event, where you can learn about the research projects of numerous distinguished TU faculty and hear from their esteemed external mentors. Through the FACET Scholars program, selected TU faculty carry out research, with guidance from a nationally known mentor/scholar in the faculty member’s area of study. The program culminates each year with the presentation of the Scholars’ research at a special event on campus. This event for 2025 will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5th at the Health Promotions Building Cafe (HP CAFE) and HP 2310. Lunch will be provided!

Faculty: Join us at FACET, room 405 in the Cook Library, on May 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for an energetic Thank an Educator celebration honoring the incredible impact of our faculty! Stop by and enjoy a delicious baked potato bar as we share our appreciation for everything that you do to make a difference every day. Bring your appetite as we celebrate together!

In response to many faculty requests, FACET will hold an in-person artificial intelligence (AI) workshop. We intend to cover use of AI for teaching, research, and service. When you register, you will be asked to select AI-related topics and we will tailor the workshop around the top six interests of prospective attendees. We hope you’ll join us! Lunch will be provided. NOTE: This event is for faculty only and limited to the first 30 to register.

Ready to make your course more inclusive without a complete overhaul? Join us for an engaging, practical session that shows how small, intentional design choices can lead to big gains in access and student success for all learners.

In this virtual training, we’ll explore the Six Essential Steps for Digital Accessibility, a simple, research-informed framework that helps you identify and remove common barriers in your course materials. These steps focus on areas where accessibility issues most often arise.

Whether you’re building a new course or refreshing an existing one, this session will help you turn small steps into meaningful impact.
