Jess Fisher FCSM Scholarship

The Fisher College of Science and Mathematics offers the Jess Fisher FCSM Scholarship, a donor-funded scholarship for incoming freshmen students committed to major in a program housed in the Fisher College of Science and Mathematics. This scholarship is renewable up to three additional years as long as the student remains a major in the FCSM and in academic good standing.  In addition to applying for these scholarships, students must apply and be admitted to Towson University. Admission information for incoming freshman applicants is found at the Towson University Undergraduate Admissions Website.

Jess Fisher Pre-Engineering Scholarship

The Fisher College of Science and Mathematics offers the Jess Fisher Pre-Engineering Scholarship, a donor-funded scholarship for incoming freshmen students committed to major in a program housed in the Fisher College of Science and Mathematics and planning a career in engineering. This scholarship is renewable up to three additional years as long as the student remains a major in the FCSM and in academic good standing.  In addition to applying for these scholarships, students must apply and be admitted to Towson University. Hill-Lopes Scholars Program

The Hill-Lopes Scholars Program is open to full- and part-time undergraduate students in the Fisher College of Science and Mathematics who have a cumulative 3.0 GPA. The program spans four years, and students apply to the program at the end of the first year.  Hill-Lopes Scholars receive a stipend each semester as well as financial support to attend professional scientific meetings and to participate in career-building conferences and workshops.

Dr. Carol L. and Robert E. Daihl Scholarship

The Fisher College of Science and Mathematics offers the Dr. Carol L. and Robert E Daihl Scholarship for science majors within the Jess & Mildred Fisher College of Science and Mathematics who intend to teach in a secondary school science. This scholarship is awarded during the semester they are student teaching.

John B. '71 and Sharon Hafner Yingling '71 Scholarship

The Fisher College of Science and Mathematics offers the John B. '71 and Sharon Hafner Yingling '71 Scholarship for Towson University full-time undergraduate students who are enrolled in Fisher College and studying the natural sciences.  This scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit and need.  This scholarship is renewable up to three additional years as long as the student remains a major in the FCSM and in academic good standing.

L. Melvin Roberts Memorial Scholarship

The Fisher College of Science and Mathematics offers the L. Melvin Roberts Memorial Scholarship for Towson University students who are enrolled in Fisher College and in their junior or senior year.  This is a one-time non-renewable scholarship on the basis of merit and/or need.

Michele M. Cooper, M.D. Scholarship

The Fisher College of Science and Mathematics offers the Michele M. Cooper, M.D. Scholarship, a donor-funded scholarship for an incoming freshman student from an Anne Arundel County High School who is committed to a major in the FCSM. This scholarship is renewable up to three additional years as long as the student remains a major in the FCSM and in academic good standing.

Richard E Burdette, Jr. Scholarship

The Fisher College of Science and Mathematics offers the Richard E. Burdette, Jr. Scholarship for continuing full-time undergraduate Towson University students who are enrolled in the Fisher College and in their junior or senior year. This is a one-time non-renewable scholarship for a junior or senior who demonstrates significant continual leadership and service to the University through student organizations, University committee participation, participation in study abroad/away programming or outstanding contributions to campus life.
