Emergency Preparedness

The safety of the Towson University community during an emergency is predicated on detailed planning as well as building awareness about how the plans will be implemented. Students, faculty, staff and visitors will be better prepared in an emergency if they know how the university will respond, where they can find information, and what they should do.

In the event of a campus emergency, or a weather-related early closing, all-day closing or delayed opening of Towson University, an announcement will be made through the following communication channels:
