Towson University offers a wide range of baccalaureate and graduate programs designed to prepare students for success in today's rapidly changing workplace. Students choose from 65 undergraduate majors, 41 master's programs, four doctoral programs, five certificates of advanced study and 23 post-baccalaurate certificates.

A strong liberal arts foundation anchors a Towson undergraduate education, and this core also emphasizes service learning, civic engagement, internships and study abroad. Many graduate programs that serve working professionals have been developed and expanded to respond to work force trends.

Towson University's mission is carried out through its colleges and by its many interdisciplinary initiatives. Non-degree programs, professional training, learning in retirement, and youth and community arts programs are among Towson's extended education offerings.

Towson University ranks 35th of 402 U.S. public and private master’s universities in Washington Monthly’s 2015 “Best-Bang-for-the-Buck” (Northeast Schools) list.
