  • Administrator I Certification
    Towson University offers coursework that meets the Maryland Department of Education (MSDE) licensure requirements for Administrator I certification. This certification, in addition to a master's degree, is a requirement for supervisors, assistant principals and principals.
  • Credit Courses Offered Online (Search)
    How to Search: To find an online course, search the catalog in Towson Online Services. After you select the term of study, deselect the "Open Classes Only" checkbox. Then scroll to the bottom where you can select either Off-Campus/Online. Here you can search for online or hybrid (partially online).

Important Information for Non-Maryland Residents

Towson University is not authorized to conduct distance education programs in the following states:Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Utah, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Alabama, Arkansas, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, North Dakota. However, residents of these states may enroll in distance education courses if they are in residence in Maryland and are concurrently enrolled in face-to-face courses on the Towson University campus.
