**New freshmen for fall 2010 are guaranteed a space in university housing if they complete all steps of the online housing request and pay the $350 non-refundable housing deposit by May 3, 2010. Due to the increased demand for housing, there is a possibility that one of these housing options will fill prior to the May 3 deadline and no longer be available.
To reserve a room in University Housing for the academic year 2010-2011, please go to our Web site, www.towson.edu/housing, and click on Request Housing for further instructions. Only new freshmen who have been officially admitted to the university will be able to access this information. If you do not have access to a computer, you may call Housing and Residence Life at 410-704-2516 once you have been admitted to request that housing information be mailed to you.
There are two on-campus housing options available for new freshmen: University Housing and West Village (Tubman and Paca Houses). The online housing request process is for University Housing only. To apply to live in West Village housing go to www.tuwestvillage.com.
The online housing request will be available beginning February 1, 2010. Housing and Residence Life will confirm by mail the receipt of your housing contract and deposit. This confirmation guarantees you a space in University Housing.
Please contact the Department of Housing and Residence Life at any time if you have questions about this process at 410-704-2516.
Housing: Transfer Students – Fall 2010
Transfer students are not guaranteed on-campus housing and only a limited number of housing contracts will be accepted.
Reserve Housing for Spring 2010
Housing: Freshmen and Transfer Students – Spring 2010
As space is limited for spring 2010, housing for freshmen and transfer students entering in the spring term is not guaranteed. Housing contracts and deposits will be accepted on a space-available basis.
