Admission and Class Registration

Admission and class registration procedures vary, depending on whether you are a current Towson University student or a Harford Community College student. If you are a new student, contact Towson University's Office of Admissions for more information.

If you are a current Towson University student:

Register for these classes using Towson Online Services (use the secure login link) or in person. To register, you must be enrolled at Towson University and have a student account.

For questions about registration, visit the Office of the Registrar, Enrollment Services, Room 223, call 410-704-2701, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., or e-mail registration@towson.edu.

If you are a Harford Community College student:

Step 1:  Complete Towson University’s “Undergraduate Non-Degree Enrollment” form and submit to George Budelis, Student Development Specialist, at Harford Community College’s Student Center.

(Some programs require a Towson University Undergraduate Degree Application for Admission.  Contact your program coordinator for additional information.)

Step 2:  George Budelis will verify your eligibility and forward your information to Towson University.

Step 3:  Towson University will register you and send you a tuition bill for the course at Towson University’s tuition rates.

Step 4:  Specific questions about financial aid should be directed to the Office of Financial Aid at Harford Community College.

Billing Information

A separate statement of account will be sent to you by Towson University for any credits taken through Towson at the applicable tuition and fee rate. Towson offers reduced fees to students who take classes at satellite campus locations that are 25 miles or more from the TU campus. Satellite campus rates are listed below the tuition and fee information, by term, under "Other Rate Structures."

Transfer of Credits

If you take a Towson course in Harford County, the Towson credits you earn will apply toward your specific degree program or as elective credits at Harford Community College. Students who decide to transfer to Towson after earning a degree from HCC can transfer those credits either toward specific degree programs or as elective credits at Towson.  For more information, please contact George Budelis at 443-412-2185 or gbudelis@harford.edu.
