Research AND Funding Opportunities
The Office of University Research Services can help you identify appropriate funding opportunities and conduct funding searches. Our weekly newsletter, Alive Line, archived on our site, includes announcements of upcoming funding opportunities of broad interest, arranged by discipline. Other sites of interest are listed below
Many resources are available to faculty, staff and students who seek research and funding opportunities. Towson University subscribes to three Web-based search engines--the Grant Resource Center (GRC), Community of Science (COS), and Illinois Researcher Information Service (IRIS). Each engine is accessible online from faculty and staff desktops and can be searched by multiple criteria, including keywords, sponsor and deadline. While they are very similar, they complement each other. A list of federal, state and private funding websites for research and other scholarly projects is also listed below.
Targeted funding opportunities listed by college:

Announcements are made through the Alive Line and proposal development workshops are offered prior to each deadline.
