Applicants are expected to have a minimum 3.0. Applicants with a GPA lower than 3.0 will be considered*.
All projects must be mentored by a full-time faculty member and the application must include a letter of support from the faculty mentor. *For students with a GPA less than 3.0, the letter of support must address the feasibility of how the student will be able to carry out the research project while improving his/her GPA.
The Undergraduate Research Committee will meet to discuss research grant proposals approximately one week after the deadline. Each applicant will be informed electronically of the Committee's decision regarding their proposal within the following week.
Funding received from the TOUR office must be spent down no later than Thursday, June 15, 2016.
