Biography
Erin Nueslein is the Associate Director of the Applied Economics and Human Services group at RESI of Towson University. Her expertise ranges from performing labor market and economic analyses to conducting litigation support, policy analysis and economic development strategies During Ms. Nueslein's tenure at RESI she has served as program manager for RESI's Maryland Department of Human Resources - Family Investment Administration contract. Ms. Nueslein has had the opportunity to serve as project lead for a variety of research and analytical projects over the course of her tenure. These projects ranged from fiscal and economic impact, policy, cost of services and survey analyses. Ms. Nueslein was the principle investigator for the labor shed analysis for Western Maryland conducted by Towson University's EDA University Center. Ms Nueslein also served as one of the primary researchers on the Educational Needs Assessment: Supply and Demand of Educational Programs Likely to Support the DoD BRAC Movements into Maryland study that RESI conducted on behalf of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development as well as served as the project lead on the BRAC Small and Minority Business Opportunity Study conducted on behalf of the Governor's Office of Minority Affairs. Ms. Nueslein has also served as the principal analyst on projects for Michael Companies, Manekin, LLC, Constellation Energy, BP, and many other local and state agencies.
Ms. Nueslein has aided in survey development, coordination and dissemination efforts on behalf of clients including the Tri-County Council of Western Maryland, The Abell Foundation, and the Susquehanna Workforce Network.
Ms. Nueslein has served as project manager for the production of several RESI statistical publications including: the 2006 Maryland Statistical Abstract (on behalf of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development, the 2005 Fact Pack (on behalf of the Maryland Department of Human Resources).
