Where Involvement Begins!

College is more than learning inside a classroom.  By becoming involved in a student organization you can learn about parts of yourself you may not have known existed!  By being involved in a group, you get the chance to meet new friends with common interests, take on leadership roles, network for your future career, and have a great time!

If you are looking to get involved, need more information about student groups, or just have an overwhelming sense of curiosity, this is the place for you! Log on to Involved@TU to browse the organizations at Towson. The types of organizations and student groups are listed by category below. (Note: You do not need a TU ID in order to browse the organizations.)

Academic and Professional Organizations

Organizations in this category consist of national organizations for upcoming professionals and organizations that are related to a specific academic department/field of study. These groups tend to be geared toward professional development; however you do not necessarily have to be pursuing that field in order to be involved in the organization.
