International Business in Spain and Morocco
May 26 - June 13, 2010
Spend 17 days studying inernational business and culture in Spain and Morocco with Towson University in Summer 2010. Explore first-hand the challenges of 'doing business' in the context of Muslim countries including their approach to free trade agreements and privatization efforts. This program will allow participants to gain a broader understanding of the intertwined roles of history and culture with business and economics.
The program is based in Sevilla, Spain but also includes time in Granada, Malaga, and a 3-day excursion to Morocco. Program highlights include visits to local organizations and businesses, a tour of the Alhambra Palace and a day trip to the Donana National Park.
Housing: Housing is in modest, clean hotels with students sharing rooms with one or more classmates.

Course: MNGT 375 International Business and MNGT 494 Spanish Culture and Business (6 credits). TU students may receive Honors credit for their study abroad experience - click here for more information.
Costs:* $5,550 includes academic credit, health insurance, roundtrip airfare, accommodation, excursions, and some meals. Additional costs include $150 study abroad fee, any meals not included, and personal expenses.
*The Towson University Study Abroad Office reserves the right to make any necessary changes including adjustments in cost in the event that unforeseen circumstances arise.
Application deadline: MARCH 15, 2010. Admission is on a rolling basis. Early application is advised as space is
limited.
Application Process: Students must hold a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and have a high school diploma or equivalent experience. Fill out an application (PDF) and submit it to the TU Study Abroad Office. $250 deposit required at time of application. Non-TU students must also submit a completed Non-Degree Enrollment Application (PDF).
