Statement on the passing of Dr. Julius Chapman

Interm President Perreault issued the following statement on October 25:

"This week, we learned of the passing of Dr. Julius Chapman, TU’s first dean of minority affairs and a transformational figure for our university. His leadership laid a foundation for the inclusive community that is now the hallmark of a TU education. Our work continues every day to build upon and honor Dean Chapman's legacy for generations to come. We extend our thoughts to his family, friends, former students and colleagues. As we honor his life and impact, we will share more information as appropriate."
