Our program prepares students for careers as scholars and professional leaders for the Jewish community. The interdisciplinary curriculum combines courses in history, leadership, ethics, non-profit management and communal service.

One Program, Two Paths

Specialize in Jewish studies and become an expert in the Bible, a key text in Judaism and Christianity. Understand the historical relationships between Jews, Muslims and Christians. Explore the development of Jewish thought and traditions in Christian and Muslim contexts.

Specialize in Jewish education and communal leadership and graduate prepared to manage Jewish institutions and teach in Jewish schools. Get on-the-job, supervised training and internships.

Whichever track you choose, you’ll receive individualized support and an in-depth learning experience tailored to your interests and goals.

Accelerate from Undergraduate Programs

Begin graduate courses as an undergraduate student. Take up to nine graduate-level credits in your senior year to complete a B.A. and M.A. in just 5 years.

Earn the M.A. that will enhance your credentials and advance your career.

Students in the accelerated program are eligible for merit and need-based scholarship support in the graduate phase of their studies.
