Biography

Rebecca Wolf graduated from the University of Maryland with an M.F.A. in Lighting Design and Undergraduate Studies from SUNY Buffalo in NY with a B.A. in Theatre Design. She has worked on the national tours of The Full Monty and Fosse as well as for SUNY Buffalo as Asst. Production Manager and Asst. Technical Director. Designs for UM include Savage in Limbo (in conjunction with Woolly Mammoth Theatre), Machinal and The Ashgirl. Asst. Lighting design for the Amen Corner, Good Morning Desdemona, The Crucible and The Physicist at the University of Maryland. Other credits include Asst. Lighting designs for Camille (Helen Hayes Nomination for best Lighting Design), Nixon’s Nixon and The Summer of 42’ at Roundhouse Theatre in Bethesda and Breath Boom at The Studio Theatre. Also, Asst. Lighting Design for 1776, The Mousetrap and The Rabbit Hole at Olney Theatre. Recent outside Designs include What’s a little Death? For the Source Festival and Baltimore Theatre Project and Urinetown at American University.
