A message of thanks
President Ginsberg sent the following message to the TU community on Tuesday, November 21
As we approach the holiday and soon have a short break to celebrate with loved ones, I want to express my thanks.
Thanksgiving is a time when we reflect and express gratitude. This year, Elaine and I are very grateful for the opportunity to join TU and become part of this extraordinary community.
It has been less than one month since I began my work as our university’s 15th president, but I feel like I’ve been a Tiger for so much longer. From the very first moment Elaine and I arrived on campus, TU felt like home. That is because of the people of our university. Whether we’ve met personally, you’ve reached out or offered a smile on campus – every person with whom we have interacted has made us feel welcome and included. We are so thankful and express our sincere gratitude – we are so happy to be home at TU.
As president, it is my priority to support all who learn, work and visit Towson University. I know that together we will help a great university to become even greater in its next era.
On behalf of my family, I wish you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving and a joyous holiday season.
Sincerely,
Mark R. Ginsberg, Ph.D.
President
