I often say that Towson University is an engine of opportunity – that here, every student is ensured access to a transformative education, regardless of their background or their area of study. Each student comes to us from their own individual “point A” with their own individual goal of “point B.” We meet them where they are, and we help them get where they want to go. And we do this while providing instruction of the highest caliber.

Recent recognitions prove just that. Earlier this month, several of TU’s academic programs were named best in their discipline at the national level. Our online graduate education program was named No. 1 in Maryland and No. 35 in the country, while our master’s in speech pathology program was ranked No. 8 and our online graduate computer information technology program was ranked No. 55 in the U.S. At the undergraduate level, our College of Business & Economics was named the No. 26 program among all public universities in the nation. And for the second-straight year, TU was named a Top Fulbright Producing Institution.

While these rankings are a source of great pride for our university – I am most proud of the care and commitment our educators put into giving students the best possible experience, both in the classroom and outside of it. Because at TU, access to excellence is truly for everyone.

Sincerely,

Mark R. Ginsberg
