Forbes 30 Under 30 for Social Impact

Forbes identifies and selects outstanding business owners, changemakers and innovators for the Forbes 30 Under 30 awards. This year, two Tigers, both fellows in the StarTUP Accelerator at TU were nominated under the Social Impact category.

Adeola Ajani ’20 

Adeola Ajani ’20 

Founder of Fem Equity, Ajani graduated from TU with a bachelor's degree in financial planning and finance and was a Business Model Competition finalist in the StarTUP Accelerator at TU. Fem Equity is a platform that creates solutions for women and underrepresented professionals and hiring organizations that are going through pay or professional gaps.

Rebecca Rosenberg

Rosenberg, the CEO of ReBokeh Vision Technologies, Inc., kickstarted her career and business through the StarTUp Accelerator at TU. She recently partnered with Towson University to provide automatic, free and unlimited access to the premium version of ReBokeh's app-based technology, ReBokeh Plus, to anyone in the StarTUp at the Armory.

Baltimore Business Journal 40 Under 40

The Baltimore Business Journal 40 Under 40 List recognizes up-and-coming business executives and community leaders each year. This year, three Tigers were honored for their contributions to property management, health care and equitable education initiatives.

Jill Harman of MacKenzie Property Management

Jill Harman 11

Harman now serves as the president of the MacKenzie Management Company, the largest locally owned, third-party property management firm in Maryland. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication studies..

Daniel Lunz

Daniel Lunz 16

He is the cofounder and CEO of Previse, an service that develops precision medicine solutions aimed at prevention and early detection of cancer, starting with esophageal cancer. Lunz graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from TU in 2016.

Nikki Schiavone

Nikki Schiavone ’07

Schiavone is the director of communications for Living Classrooms Foundation. This nonprofit organization provides access to more equitable education, workforce development, health and wellness and community safety opportunities in the greater Baltimore and D.C. areas. Schiavone graduated with a bachelor's degree in mass communication and cultural studies from TU.
