Towson University offers 18 residence halls on campus that represent an eclectic mix
of old and new architecture.
Summer 2024 Housing
The summer housing application will open on March 15th at 1pm EST on the Student Housing Gateway.
Summer Housing Eligibility:
- Residents must be engaged in one of the following to be eligible for summer housing
residency:
- Summer Classes: Resident is required to be a degree-seeking, admitted, and enrolled in summer classes for each session that they are residing on campus. -OR-
- Working on Campus: Resident must work 30+ hours per week on campus in order to be eligible for summer housing. An employment verification form is required from the resident's TU employer.
- If a resident fails to be enrolled in summer classes or employed 30 hours or more
with the University at any point throughout the summer will constitute a breach under
the housing contract and the resident will be expected to check out within 72 hours
of notification.
- Residents must have proper academic and disciplinary standing, as determined by the University.
Summer Housing Accommodations and Cost

- All students will be assigned to an individual bedroom and will share a bathroom with
1 other student, and share a kitchen and living area with up to 3 other students.
- The summer housing rate is $210/wk or $30/day.
- There is NO meal plan available during the summer. Limited meal options are available on-campus.
