The Office of the President serves the greater campus community by upholding and exemplifying the vision and the academic mission of Towson University. The Office of the President’s staff work closely with all university divisions, as well as community partners and government officials, to support TU's faculty, staff, students and programs.
Dr. Mark Ginsberg began his tenure as Towson University’s 15th president on October 30. He has enjoyed a remarkable 40-year career as a psychologist, educator and senior administrator, most recently serving as provost of George Mason University, the largest and youngest R1 research institution in Virginia. With passions for childhood education, teaching, and mental health access, Dr. Ginsberg serves as a volunteer board member with several non-profit organizations and remains a professor and practicing clinician in Maryland.
