My advice to anyone who's applying.
If at all possible, come visit campus! Our student ambassadors have so many student experiences they can't wait to share with you, and we want you to get an in-person look at our facilities. Visualizing yourself on campus is an important part of the process!

What I love most about my job.
I enjoy helping incoming students feel at home here at TU by sharing the unique experiences that Towson University offers to each student. Our campus has such a large, diverse range of academics and extracurricular activities, and there is truly a place for everyone at TU. Helping a student discover how they can personalize their individual college journey at TU to maximize personal and professional growth is one of my favorite aspects of my job!

Why I work in Admissions.
I strive to be a resource for incoming students, whether that be answering questions, giving important information/deadlines, or providing advice and guidance. When I was looking at schools, I had no idea where to start, what I wanted to major in, what area I wanted my school to be in, or even how big I wanted my school to be. Choosing a college/university is not always an easy decision or process, and I am happy to use my experience to guide students and families through this journey.

My student experiences helped me prepare for this job.
I was a student ambassador for a year and an admissions social media assistant for a year while an undergraduate student at TU. I gained valuable insight on the admissions process and had the incredible opportunity to form close relationships with incoming students and families.
