Here’s what I love about Towson’s location:
There is so much to do on and off campus. There are great restaurants and plays to
attend. You could head to the movie theater, enjoy a sporting event, head to the mall,
or even grab some friends and go to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore or DC for a day
trip; or even apply for an internship — it’s not far at all!
Why I work in admissions:
The college search can be stressful and overwhelming for both prospective students
and family. I want to help you in this process so you can make the right choice for
you. I enjoy answering questions and assisting you in this process as you embark on
the next chapter in your education.
My advice to anyone who is applying:
Don’t compare yourself to anyone else as this is your education and your experience.
Take the on-campus tours as you can see for yourself if a school is right for you.
Ask the questions; no question is too small.
My own student experiences helped prepare me for my job:
My experience has been mostly from the Residence Life and student athlete background,
and my #1 advice is to get involved on campus once you are settled. I enjoy a fast-paced
atmosphere that is centered around helping students.
