My advice to anyone who's applying.
Be yourself. The biggest thing that Towson or any other college looks for is uniqueness and individuality. Try and figure out what is something that sets you apart from someone else. Who are you? Every person comes from a different background with different perspectives. Share your perspective!

Why I work in admissions.
When I was in my undergraduate days, one of the places that I always considered home was the admissions department. As graduation was coming up, I didn't really know what I wanted to do with my life; however, I looked at my favorite parts of what I had done and realized that working in admissions was going to be the path for me. The admissions counselors that I knew changed my life and I wasn't even one of their students. I want to have that same impact on someone just like they did on me.

What I love most about my job.
Being able to impact others and getting to meet people who have different backgrounds to my own. This job allows me to connect with various people that I would have never had the opportunity to meet before and I'm proud to do that for a university that pushes for life-long learning and receiving an education.

Something people might not know about TU.
Doc the Tiger, our mascot, is named after Donald "Doc" Minnegan, who was Towson’s former athletics’ director and head coach.
