Our Project Management Professional (PMP®) Preparation course can help you earn a PMP® certification. If you're new to the fields, you'll develop a solid foundation. No prerequisites are required to take our Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification Prep course. To be eligible for the PMP certification, you must meet certain educational and professional experience requirements. All project management experience must have been accrued within the last eight consecutive years prior to your application submission.

Exam requirements

  • Four-year degree
  • Three years leading projects
  • 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® certification

OR

  • High school diploma or an associate's degree or global equivalent
  • Five years leading projects
  • 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® certification

Exam format

  • 180 questions, but the same number of questions will be scored
  • 230 minutes to complete the exam
  • One additional break for a total of two 10-minute breaks for computer-based tests. No scheduled breaks for paper-based exams.
  • Questions will be a combination of multiple-choice, multiple responses, matching, hot area, and limited fill-in-the-blank.

  • Non-member: $555.00

Exam voucher: Not Included in tuition

Maintaining your certification: You are required to earn 60 PDUs in a three-year cycle. These PDUs can be broken down as follows:

Hardware Requirements

  • This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac.
  • Webcams are strongly recommended.

Software Requirements

  • PC: Windows XP or later.
  • Mac: OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 or later.
  • Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
  • Microsoft Word (not included in enrollment).
  • Windows Media Player.
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader. Download the Acrobat Reader.
  • Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.
