Debbie Darr

Biography

Debbie serves as director of membership and operations for the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU), which is headquartered at Towson University. In this role, she oversees membership, including recruitment, member retention, and the on-boarding of new members to ensure the success of the organization. She also manages finances and supports the planning of the annual conference and the functions of the board of directors.

Debbie’s background includes ten years in the financial services industry at two Baltimore firms.

Education

Debbie holds an M.B.A. from Loyola University Maryland and a B.S. in business administration and marketing from Towson University.

Personal

Debbie lives in Lutherville with her husband and two teenage boys. She serves on the board of her community association, volunteers at her sons' schools, and enjoys spending time outdoors. She especially loves snowboarding at various mountains over the winter, visiting her family at the Jersey Shore during the summer, and hiking all year round.
