Biography

As partnerships coordinator, Emma provides support for TU’s anchor mission, economic inclusion efforts, and the growth of TU’s partnership work. She works across campus with faculty and staff to update the BTU Database and maintain the BTU Story Map, and collects data related to Towson University’s anchor mission work. Additionally, she supports BTU-related events and programs, including the BTU Council, BTU Partnership Awards, and other BTU events.

Previously, Emma served as an undergraduate and graduate assistant for TU Accelerated Programs. She also held an internship with Grantwriting In Valued Environments (G.I.V.E.), where she conducted funding and program research and wrote grant and community writing pieces for partner organizations in West Baltimore. She also interned with Art with a Heart and the Howard County Office of Children and Families, where she developed racial justice and equity resource guides for community partners.

Education

Emma holds an M.A. in professional studies and B.S. in family and human Services with a business administration minor from Towson University.

Personal

When Emma isn’t looking after her 14-year-old adopted cat, she can be found listening to podcasts or at an Orioles, Phillies, or Ravens game.
