Kathleen Crostic
Executive Director
Biography
As executive director, Kathleen provides strategic leadership over Towson University's community engagement and partnership work and serves as the front door and connector for external partners to collaborate with faculty, staff, and students. She is responsible for capturing, aligning, and supporting TU's work throughout the community.
Kathleen joined the Office of Partnerships & Outreach in 2016, initially as partnerships manager, and during her time at TU, she has supported a vast number of collaborations that the university has with schools, nonprofits, community organizations, and industry partners, and has built programming to expand TU’s partnership and community engagement work.
Kathleen has a background working with nonprofits and higher education institutions, helping to grow their mission and make positive impacts in their communities. This passion for making lasting, positive impacts is what drives Kathleen in her role—helping to connect the expertise and needs of TU faculty, staff, students, and partners to address the needs of our communities, while also making long-lasting impacts on TU students.
Education
Kathleen is a proud TU Tiger. She holds a B.S. in family studies from Towson University and is pursuing an M.S. in nonprofit management and social entrepreneurship at University of Baltimore.
Personal
Kathleen is a proud homeowner in Perry Hall, a dog-mom to Kevin, and an outdoors enthusiast. When she’s not out hiking on the local trails or fixing up her house, she’s often volunteering with and serving on the board of the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy.
