Business Admin Major: Economics

Does economics intrigue you? Consider the business administration major with a track in economics. This program offers aspiring business leaders with a well-rounded understanding of how the economy works in order to make sound business decisions. In addition to the foundation business administration courses, students take upper-level economics courses in price theory, macroeconomic theory and money and banking as well as elective courses in focused areas of interest including public finance, health economics, sport economics and many more.

Admission Requirements

Business administration is a screened major. Students are admitted to the business administration major (BUAD) only after successfully completing a set of required courses with a C or higher in each of those courses and an overall TU GPA of 2.0 or higher. See all admission requirements.
