Quantitative methods
Krystle McConnell is an assistant professor of health care management in the health sciences department. Prior to that, she was a research program manager at Johns Hopkins Center for Addiction and Pregnancy.
McConnell uses rigorous quantitative methodology to explore the impacts of adverse early life experiences, including those experienced prenatally, on health outcomes across the life course, both within and across generations. Her recent dissertation assessed the impact of intergenerational adversity on select outcomes including early initiation of alcohol use and internalizing and externalizing behavior.
