Biography

Dr. Amber Renaud has over 18 years of experience as a registered nurse with a background in medical-surgical and rehabilitation patient care. She has taught clinical courses since 2014 and has since progressed to teaching didactic online and face-to-face courses, labs through skills and simulation and hybrid courses for undergraduate nursing students. She has worked as a clinical educator, clinical instructor and adjunct faculty for nursing students in both traditional and accelerated programs. Dr. Renaud also worked as the Director of Center for Caring with Technology (CCT) at Notre Dame of Maryland University. She is skilled in providing direct clinical nursing care to patients in an acute care hospital setting. She is certified in rehabilitation nursing, environmental health and adolescent forensic nurse examination.
