Biography

Dr. Hailey Baek is a nurse researcher with a focus on the impact of nurse work environment on nursing practice. Since 2018, she has completed research and worked on several projects aimed at enhancing nurses' well-being. These projects addressed substance use issues and helped in crafting shift work recommendations. Her doctoral dissertation examined the impact of the work environment during the COVID-19 pandemic, along with bullying in nursing and how workplace support was associated with nurse well-being and intention to stay. Currently, she is working as a project director for an AHRQ-funded R01 study of Nurse EHR Usability and Usefulness in critical care with Dr. Alison Trinkoff.
