From the Dean
It is an honor and privilege to present the first annual report of the College of Liberal Arts.
As you will see, AY 23-24 was distinguished by faculty, student and staff achievement in the humanities and social sciences. These successes could not happen without the support of family, friends, alumni and our community partners.
Take a moment to explore the pages highlighting the ways students learn, the research faculty conduct, the strength and impact of our community and the support alumni provide to the college. The liberal arts are grounded in inclusive and interdisciplinary practices that leads to high levels of knowledge while providing the groundwork for life-long learning. They provide students with a multi-purposed toolkit, rigorous habits of the mind and the intellectual curiosity that support creative and critical thinking.
