Admission Requirements

  • No GRE scores are required. 
  • A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university. 
  • Official transcript from all post-secondary institutions.
  • A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 (on a 4-point scale) is required for full admission, and 2.75 is required for conditional admission, or equivalent on the most recent 60 units of graduate or undergraduate work. See graduate admission policies for more information and exceptions.
  • Statement of intent — a one-page essay describing your academic and professional goals and how this degree program can help you achieve these goals.
  • A letter of recommendation (email addresses of recommenders must be entered on application).
  • Applicants must be available for an interview with the director, in person, via Zoom or by phone.
  • Current resume.

Additional Requirements for International Applicants

U.S. Immigration requires F1 and J1 students to be enrolled full-time with the majority of their classes taken in-person and on campus.
