Michelle Manasse joined the TU Sociology Department in Fall 2005. Her MA and Ph.D degrees in Sociology are from Emory University, and she received her BA in sociology from Franklin & Marshall College. Her teaching interests include delinquency, corrections, theories of crime, and mental health.
Dr. Manasse’s research explores the intersection of mental health and delinquency/criminal justice. Her current work centers on mental health diversion courts, exploring the operational obstacles that arise in attempting to bridge the mental health and criminal justice systems.
