The Teaching English Learners Graduate Certificate (TELGC) is a four-course program
that prepares current teachers, prospective teachers and other professionals working
with multilingual students to implement instructional strategies to help them succeed
academically.
The program prepares initially certified teachers to pass the Praxis II ESOL exam
and earn a MSDE TESOL endorsement.
The program also welcomes those interested in less traditional education settings
like adult education, community colleges or other related industries.
About the Program

- Program can be taken alone, independent of master’s program.
