Part-Time Options for Working Professionals
If you’re a support personnel in a school and want to advance your career, but stepping away from your full-time job to complete coursework and field experiences isn’t an option, Towson University has a unique program to fit your needs.
Towson University offers a non-traditional pathway for school system employees in paraprofessional or supportive roles to complete a Bachelor of Science and become eligible for teacher licensure. The program allows you to build on your current knowledge and experience without leaving your current position.
The program features:
- Evidence-based coursework customized to your unique experiences and insights of schools
- Evening classes in a hybrid format on a part-time schedule
- Field experience in your school system
- Experienced faculty and individualized advising
- Cohort models that foster a supportive, collaborative environment
