Biography
Jinyoung Koh is an Assistant Professor of Art Education who has taught and managed art and art education for 10 years. His research focuses on cross cultural identity and visual culture. He is also a studio artist who has exhibited his work internationally. His art has received numerous awards and is included in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Rockefeller Foundation, and others. Dr. Koh earned two BFAs; one from Sang Myung University in Seoul and one from the Art Institute of Chicago. He earned an MFA in photography and media from the California Institute of the Arts. He completed his education with both a Master of Education and an Doctor of Education in Art & Art Education from Columbia University.
