Erjona Gashi is an Assistant Professor of Critical Organizational Communication in the Communication Department at Towson University. Her identities as a child of war, a woman born and raised in Southeastern Europe and an international student and scholar are embedded in her research interests and practices. She takes a feminist and transnational approach to engage with issues of war, trauma and the role of cultural storytelling as personal and collective healing and as resistance to systematic cultural erasure. As a scholar, she is dedicated to social change through education, advocacy and storytelling.
