Dr. Vardeman teaches courses in advertising and mass communication. He holds a Ph.D. in strategic communication and a Master's in psychology. His research program integrates theories from both disciplines, with an emphasis on how human cognition and perception impact advertising effectiveness. He also has a strong working interest in media ethics and in new and emerging forms of social media marketing.
